Fungicide and Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi Applications in Tomato

چکیده

Tomato is one of the important food crops world. It has rich essential nutrients features. However, tomato plants are sensitive to certain diseases and pests. This situation causes intense unconscious pesticide use avoid crop losses. known that mycorrhiza provide many advantages plant. In this study, effects different doses fungicide applications on some physiological parameters were examined in applied non-applied plants. A was at which were, namely, recommend (R), half (R/2), two-fold (R×2). The content proline, chlorophyll carotenoid analysis conducted plant samples. Proline values found low mycorrhizal than non-mycorrhizal all (P

Ethylene-dependent/ethylene-independent ABA regulation of tomato plants colonized by arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi.

We investigated the relationship between ABA and ethylene regulating the formation of the arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) symbiosis in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) plants and tried to define the specific roles played by each of these phytohormones in the mycorrhization process. We analysed the impact of ABA biosynthesis inhibition on mycorrhization by Glomus intraradices in transgenic tomato plants...

Environment and Host Affects Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi (AMF) Population.

The association of arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi (AMF) and roots undoubtedly gives positive advantages to the host plant. However, heavily fertilised soil such as in oil palm plantation, inhibit the growth of mycorrhiza. Thus, the aim of this research is to distinguish and quantify the availability of AMF population and propagules at different sites of an oil palm plantation by Most Probable Numb...

Gibberellin–Abscisic Acid Balances during Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Formation in Tomato

Plant hormones have become appropriate candidates for driving functional plant mycorrhization programs, including the processes that regulate the formation of arbuscules in arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) symbiosis. Here, we examine the role played by ABA/GA interactions regulating the formation of AM in tomato. We report differences in ABA and GA metabolism between control and mycorrhizal roots. A...

Identification of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza (AM)-Responsive microRNAs in Tomato

A majority of land plants can form symbiosis with arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have been implicated to regulate this process in legumes, but their involvement in non-legume species is largely unknown. In this study, by performing deep sequencing of sRNA libraries in tomato roots and comparing with tomato genome, a total of 700 potential miRNAs were predicted, among them...

Lipid transfer from plants to arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi

Arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) symbioses contribute to global carbon cycles as plant hosts divert up to 20% of photosynthate to the obligate biotrophic fungi. Previous studies suggested carbohydrates as the only form of carbon transferred to the fungi. However, de novo fatty acid (FA) synthesis has not been observed in AM fungi in absence of the plant. In a forward genetic approach, we identified t...
